The work examines Lucia's life between 1915-1950, and explores choreographically;

• Lucia’s time as a professional dance artist.

• Her romantic relationships, including her short romance with writer Samuel Beckett.

• The circumstances surrounding her incarceration by her brother.

• Her time under threat in an occupied zone at a psychiatric hospital during World War 2, shortly before her father’s death.

A full-length production based on Lucia’s life between 1907 and 1982 will be created in late 2019/ early 2020, with support from Project Arts Centre in Dublin.
